BRISTOL, Conn. -- Next stop for Mallory Holtman and Liz Wallace?
The ESPYs.
The Central Washington fastpitch duo which last spring earned national acclaim by helping an injured opponent round the bases has been nominated for a "best moment" ESPY, the network announced Tuesday.
The awards are scheduled for July 20, and will celebrate the year's best in sports. They will be televised at 6 p.m.
Holtman and Wallace, along with Western Oregon's Sara Tucholsky, have already appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Women's College World Series, the AT&T National Sportsmanship Awards, ESPN's SportsCenter, The Early Show on CBS and ESPN2's First Take.
They have also thrown out first pitches for a Mariners game at Safeco Field and will appear at major league baseball's All-Star game July 15 in at Yankee Stadium in New York.
On April 26, Holtman and Wallace carried Tucholsky around the bases after Tucholsky injured herself while running out her first collegiate home run.
Also nominated in the "best moment" category are Boston Red Sox' Jon Lester, who pitched a no-hitter less than a year after surviving cancer, and Danica Patrick, who won her first IndyCar race at the IndyCar Japan 300.
