YAKIMA -- Arenafootball2 representatives must wait until Tuesday to pitch a local investor group on purchasing and bringing a team to Yakima.

Brady Nelson, majority owner of the Spokane Shock and a member of af2's executive committee, confirmed in a text message that Friday's scheduled meeting was pushed back. He didn't elaborate to why the date was changed.

Nelson, who plans to own a minority stake in the Yakima franchise, still won't identify the investor group before the meeting. He said the face-to-face meeting will be at 10 a.m. this Tuesday. The franchise fee is reported to be $500,000, and af2 teams cost $1.1 to 1.2 million a year to operate.
